I have coached gymnastics for 11 years. I have instructed everything from toddlers to competitive teams. I have been into health and fitness my whole life. I’ve played soccer, softball, and ran track through out high school and college. I came across CrossFit in 2005 and I knew that I found something special. I did workouts on my own and with groups for a couple of years. I started teaching a morning workout group for mothers that was CrossFit inspired at a gym in Asheville NC. I’ve seen more results with CrossFit in myself and others than any other type of program. Conditioning athletes for gymnastics is not so different to CrossFit training and I felt right at home with the workouts. I grew up in the coast of SC and moved to the mountains of NC during school year. I recently moved back to Myrtle Beach and found CrossFit again. Mark and Sharon got me back into shape fast! I started the same day as Will and we have been going strong ever since!

Favorite quote: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
